Current charges as of October 2004
All charges are calculated in one of the following ways:
- Hourly rate
- Monthly retainer rate
- Whole-project rate
- All work is charged at a standard hourly rate of £18 per hour.
However, design work and desk top publishing are subject to higher rates and
a quotation will be provided on a per-project basis
- A 40% deposit will be required prior to work commencing
- Time worked is calculated to the nearest 30 minutes
- You will be invoiced at the end of each calendar month
You may find it is easier to budget for a monthly retainer.
This will also guarantee you a set amount of hours during busy periods.
The retainer is:
- 10 hours @ £160
- 20 hours @ £330
- 25 hours @ £400
Payment Methods
Virtual Resources accepts payment in the following ways:
- By cheque
- The Paypal System - This is a secure payment system for international
or credit card transactions. You will need to register with them to confirm
your card details and this takes approximately 3-4 minutes. Please click on the

- The Nochex System - This is a secure payment system for transactions with a
UK Bank Debit Card. You will need to register with them to confirm your card

Terms and Conditions
- Monthly retainers are to be paid for in advance by the 1st day of the month
- These prices are a guide only and can be tailored to your individual requirements
- A surcharge of 20% is added for evening / weekend work
- A fixed fee for a complete project can be negotiated
- A signed contract will be required before commencement. This contract will include the date
of commencement and the duration of the project plus any additional information
- Payment is strictly 10 days from the date of invoice
- Invoices which are paid within 5 days of the invoice date will receive an early payment reduction of 5%
- If payments are overdue, a reminder will be sent. Payments which are not received within 5 days of
the reminder date will incur a 10% late payment fee
- All prices are inclusive apart from additional costs such as courier charges, postage, packaging, photocopying etc.
